Lamp Lighting Ceremony

The Nurses took Florence Nightingale’s pledge to enter into the nursing profession at the lamp lighting ceremony on 01.02.2014. Dr.A.Judie, Dean, SRM College of Nursing, SRM University, was the Chief Guest .Dr.S.Devaraj Chairman, Annai Veilankannis College of Nursing, Dr.Devanand, Secretary, Annai Veilankannis College of Nursing & Dr.Johny Chirstopher, Director, Annai Veilankannis College of Nursing delivered the message of the significance of the ceremony.

Parents – Faculty meet

Open interaction of the parents and faculty was held on 02.06.20138. Parents were counseled about their ward’s total development & encouraged to give feedback on their ward’s development.

Student Nurses Association (SNA)

All students become members of the unit and take part in the unit, state, and national level activities. Ms. Anu Radha M. Sc., (N) is the advisor.

Youth Red Cross

All students are members of the Youth Red Cross and involve in social activities. Mrs.G.Sasikala M.Sc (N), Reader is the Youth Red Cross Officer. YRC volunteers from our college participated in the many activities conducted by the Indian Red Cross Society.

World Heart Day

This day was celebrated by our III Year Students in October 2013. The celebrations kick-started on October 1, 2012, with the beginning of an awareness program which includes health assessment, video show, referral, and counseling services it is conducted in Annai Veilankannis College of Nursing.
